Once your tooth is numb there is no reason to feel anything. Sometimes extra anaesthetic may be given if a tooth has an extra nerve or if it has been very sore beforehand. The dentist and nursing staff are all very experienced at anaesthesia and will constantly monitor your numbness during your visit.
